Today I saw Tanya Burrs video, on YouTube of how to make the best chocolate cookies. I decided to make them and I have to say they literally are the most amazingly delicious chocolate cookies I've tasted! I encourage everyone to give them a go, it is the easiest recipe and there are only a few ingredients, so anyone can make them! you won't turn back once you try them, trust me.

Ingredients:
200g unsalted butter
300g caster sugar
1 large egg
275g self-raising flour
75g cocoa powder
2 BIG BARS of Milk and White chocolate!
a splash of milk

Method:
preheat oven to 220c fan forced or 200c with no fan. add room temperature butter and caster sugar to a large bowl. Beat until light and creamy. Add the egg and beat again until combined. Sift the flour and cocoa powder into the mixture and stir until smooth. add a splash of milk if the mixture looks a little dry. break your chocolate bars into chunks and stir through the mixture. roll into 12 balls and place of a lined baking tray, not too close together. press down slightly and bake for 10 minutes.

*note when they come out of the oven they will be really soft and squishy, do not put them back in the oven, allow to cool on baking tray and they will firm up. eat while slightly warm and the chocolate will be gooey and melted, delicious. ENJOY

and don't forget to check out Tanya Burr's video where she shows you how to make these morsels of deliciousness :D

While I was waiting in line for four hours to meet Troye Sivan yesterday afternoon, I had the opportunity to have a chat to some of his other fans. We talked about all of our favourite youtubers, and how much we fangirl when they release a new video or what we would do if we were ever able to be in the presence of their greatness. We said we would touch Troye's hair and ask him if he is real or if it is just a dream, and then ask him to do his famous wink, none of these things actually happened though as we were all way too starstruck to do anything other than hug him and stand there and smile like idiots in the photos.

All this YouTube talk got me thinking, that maybe I should have a go at starting my own YouTube channel and create my own videos.I have been wanting to do this for a while now, but been too scared, but its all about venturing out of your comfort zone, so I decided to do it. What also got me thinking was one of the other girls saying to me, "You should make YouTube videos, and then become famous, so that I can say that I met you." I immediately thought that maybe if this random girl thinks I should make YouTube videos then, just maybe there will be other people out there who will watch and enjoy my videos.

I have now made one YouTube video, granted its not the best, just from lack of experience, but I enjoyed making it, and I immediately wanted to create another one. I have all of these ideas, so I will use them. It is super weird talking to a camera, while I sit alone in my bedroom and then looking at my face for an hour while I try my best to figure out how to edit. I guess this will take some getting used to. Ofcourse it will all just be for a fun, the reason I am doing this is because I enjoy it and thats all that matters. I do want people to view my videos but only if they enjoy them. And if no one wants to watch me talk a load of crap for 2-4 minutes then I won't get too hung up over it.

#1 - Meeting a YouTuber and making a video

So today was an eventful day to say the least. I was able to cross the first two things off my bucket list. I had the amazing opportunity to meet my absolute favourite YouTuber, Troye Sivan and for the most part I had a blast! It was a tiring 4 hour wait amongst around 2 000 other screaming fans, but well worth it though, to be able to even catch a glimpse of perfection. Thinking back on it I would have liked to have had the opportunity to actually sit down and talk to him because he seems like a really interesting person, but the fact that I actually got to meet him meant the world to me. He is such an inspiration, especially with the volunteer work he does. I couldn't believe it when I saw him for the first time, he actually was just as perfect and down to earth as he seems in his videos, so much so to the point where I was questioning if he is actually real or not. I am just so happy that I got to be in the presence of such an amazing and beautiful human being! One of the best days of my life, so thank you Troye!

The other thing I crossed off my list today is to make a YouTube video. I have always wanted to create videos but I've been too scared and not really known how, but I finally mustered up the courage to do it. Its obviously not as good as it could be, because I'm really new to the process, and I have to say, it's a super weird experience talking to a camera, while you're alone in your bedroom.

If you want to check out my video, here is my link, also check out Troye Sivan while you're there

Thanks

 Wednesday 4th December 2013 - Introduction

So, I have decided to create a bucket list. Already my list contains almost 50 things I want to do before I die. This blog is all about living life to the fullest, because each and every one of us is so lucky to be alive. I decided that now is the time to start doing the things I want to do because I just turned 18 and I have no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life, so I figured I will just live and not worry about anything else. I don't want to be one of those people who never did anything with their life and have all these regrets. I also realised that I have no idea when my life will come to an end, so this is something I don't want to put off. I will be travelling around the world and completing every single one of these tasks on my list one by one, and documenting all of them. I came across this YouTuber the other day called BriBry, who has done a similar thing to this, for charity and it has made his life so much better, so he inspired me to do the same. I think ultimately in life I want to make a difference, and to make a difference I have to get out there and do something, it's not just going to happen without hard work.

Thank you for reading,
I am going to South Africa in just over a week, and that's where I will be starting this journey, so please stick around.
